2026 Daily Devotions: Join Our Study through the Bible

In 2026, I am devoting time to writing daily devotions in line with Bible readings from my One Year Book-by-Book Bible Reading Plan (Basic Plan). Each day includes three readings from the Old Testament, the New Testament, and the wisdom books or Isaiah. I write the devotional based on one of the readings. These are more than the average devotionals and more in-depth teachings and reflections on the selected Bible reading.

There are days each month when I may not write the devotional due to unexpected commitments, but I will pick up on the next Bible reading. Since the plan includes five free days each month, I believe that, by God’s grace, I will complete the devotions for each reading by the end of the year.

These devotions will encourage you to meditate on God’s word, reflect on your spiritual walk, and live and grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ. These devotions have reached hundreds of readers seeking spiritual growth via email, website, and social media. Subscribe to my newsletter below to receive devotions straight to your inbox in 2026.

It is not too late to download the Bible reading plan free and follow along and begin building a daily Bible reading habit. The plan is flexible enough to begin at any month

One Year Book-by-Book Bible Reading Plan: Basic

(Basic Level) Suitable for beginners in the Bible and new converts.

This Bible reading plan will help you to study the entire Bible book by book in one year, reading on average four chapters daily.

  • Each day includes three readings from the Old Testament, the New Testament, and the wisdom books or Isaiah.
  • The plan gives you twenty-five days’ worth of reading per month with five to six “free days.” These free days can be used to make up for any missed days, go through any readings you may have missed, or revisit any passages that stood out.
  • If going through the entire Bible in one year is too overwhelming for you, feel free to customize the plan to suit your needs. For example, you could do the New Testament only in one year and the Old Testament the next.
  • This plan is flexible enough to begin at any month of the year as your ‘Month 1.’
