What Shall You Do With This Man Christ?
Pilate said to them, “What then shall I do with Jesus, who is called Christ?” They all said to him, “Let Him be crucified!” Matthew 27:22
Christ will come back again as he promised to establish his kingdom. This time, He is not coming to deal with sin. He dealt with sin 2000 years ago at his first coming once and for all. His second coming will be for resurrection, judgment, and dominion. He will come in a whole different appearance, not as a lamb to the slaughter but as a lion. Not as a humble servant but as a conquering king. Not with tears and pleading but with vengeance against his adversaries.
The time of grace is now. God is calling every moment with arms stretched wide for all to repent and believe the gospel, the good news of his Son’s death and offering of himself ONCE and for all for the sins of the world. He has finished the work, and ours is to accept.
This time of grace is for decision. Night is coming when the work of believing will be over, and it will be time for harvest. The door of invitation will be closed soon.
Christ has made the way of salvation free
How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? God died for his creation. What more can God do for us? What manner of love is this? Who can ever accuse God of being mean and unjust? He indeed saved the best wine (his son) for last at the end of the age. That’s why, after this world, there is no more opportunity to receive mercy. This is the time we have been given to hear about the Son. Now is the time to believe or not.
After death or after Jesus returns, the time of mercy and grace will be up, and the door closed. Now is the hour of salvation. Each of us is appointed a season of time to repent. No man knows the day or hour of his departure.
Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your heart
“Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him—even those who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. So shall it be! Amen.” Revelation 1:7
“So also Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many; and He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who eagerly await Him.” Hebrews 9:28
“After the master of the house gets up and shuts the door, you will stand outside knocking and saying, ‘Lord, open the door for us.’ But he will reply, ‘I do not know where you are from’.” Luke 13:25
“Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.” Psalm 2:12
