Don’t Miss the Time of Your Visitation

There are grace periods when God gives us, both individually and collectively, to know Him. But these periods do come to an end. Now is the day of salvation. A time is coming when men shall seek grace, seek salvation, seek death, and not find it (Revelation 9:6, 20-21). When Jesus walked in Jewry, that was a time of grace for the Jews. They had their messiah with them physically, but they did not recognize their time of visitation. This turned against them when the Romans destroyed Jerusalem in 70 AD.

“If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you, and close you in on every side, and level you and your children within you to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation.” Luke 19:42-44

The time of great deception ahead.

The earth is moving towards its finality; ahead of us is not peace but devastation. The antichrist system is preparing to take over this world, and those days of tribulation will not be the time to find salvation. Jesus said these will be days of tribulation such as have never been seen since the world was created (Matthew 24:21). The devil himself shall release terror on this world physically. God’s judgments shall be poured out. Days of great deception are coming upon this world with the advent of AI, where it will be almost impossible to be saved (Revelation 13:11-18). Now is the day of salvation.

“Seek the LORD while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.” Isaiah 55:6-7

Make the most of the time.

To reject Jesus now when he has provided grace and to think that one will receive him later when the heart is more hardened and the world is in darkness is folly. Night is coming when no man can work (John 9:4). Now is the day of salvation, not tomorrow. Nobody knows what their tomorrow holds. Don’t miss the time of your visitation. Today, while you hear his voice, don’t harden your heart (Hebrews 3:15).

“Redeeming (making the most of) the time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:16

Judas walked with Jesus for 3 years, and he had many opportunities to get right with God. But he kept hardening his heart until Satan entered him, and it was too late for him to repent. There was a day when the cup of iniquity of the Amorites was full and God wiped them out (Genesis 15:16, Joshua 24:8). There was a day when Sodom’s sins reached the ears of God to a finality, and it was destroyed (Genesis 18:20-21; Genesis 19:13).

Now is the day of salvation

We should not presume on God’s grace and think salvation will always be available for us when we wish. God is not at anyone’s mercy. There is a grace period for everyone and also a point of no return if we keep hardening our hearts. Repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand. While we have the light, let us walk in the light that we may be children of the light. Don’t miss the time of your visitation.

“Then Jesus said to them, “A little while longer the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going. While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.” John 12:35-36

“But although He had done so many signs before them, they did not believe in Him, that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke: ‘Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?” Therefore, they could not believe, because Isaiah said again, “He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, lest they should see with their eyes, lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, so that I should heal them.” John 12:37-40

“For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:2

Have you given your life to Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior? He loves us so much that he, our creator, left heaven and came to earth, dying for us on the cross, taking our sins upon him so that we may be forgiven and receive his righteousness. He conquered death by rising from the dead and made a way for us who were dead in sin to be reconciled back to the Father (God). What’s more, he has prepared a wonderful home for us in heaven, where those who love him and obey him will spend eternity with him. Learn more here about how to be born again and have eternal life after this brief life on earth.
