Rapture: 23rd/ 24th of September, 2025?
Dear Friend: I wanted to share something I wrote on Facebook today regarding the viral videos on the rapture being later this month for your consideration.
Suppose the rapture does not happen on the 23rd and 24th of September 2025 (which I do not believe it will because it violates the word of God and Jesus’s own and the apostles’ teachings on the end times and the second coming of Jesus, including no one knowing the day or hour and it being unexpected). In that case, I think it’s going to be a serious time of reckoning for many to ask themselves who has been giving them and others these dreams and visions they are getting, because Jesus cannot lie.
It will also hopefully lead many to seriously consider what place of authority they have given visions and dreams and internet prophets over their spiritual lives, vis-à-vis the word of God.
Hopefully, it will also lead people to settle down and focus on winning souls, preaching the gospel, occupying until he comes, and living a holy life consistently rather than waiting to escape this world in panic. Hopefully, it will also lead people to see how widespread deception can be when something is given so much attention above scripture.
That said, Jesus WILL come again as he promised, and that is our blessed hope, but he never told us to wait for him by setting dates, panicking, or repenting last minute because of dates, but to be like the 5 wise virgins, always ready with oil in our lamps, even if Jesus never returns in our lifetime.
I am not a prophet. This is my personal opinion and belief based on my study of God’s word and the witness in my Spirit. That said, I do strongly believe the Lord will return during the Feast of Trumpets when he does. As for those who have seen an angel, dream, or vision, time will tell us if it was from God after 24th September, and if they were right, then praise God. But if it does not come to pass, no excuses; it was false. God is not fickle or capricious.
The Word never changes and is the only solid foundation. When we go outside the confines of scripture, we sow confusion and bring disrepute and mockery to the gospel and negatively affect the faith of weak believers.
“…learn from us not to go beyond what is written.” 1 Corinthians 4:6
“Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.” Matthew 24:42
Note what happened in 2011 with Harold Camping, his followers, and other rapture date setters in the past, like William Miller in 1844 and Edgar Whisenant in 1988. There is nothing new under the sun.
P.S.: If you are sowing seeds of division or getting into strife with fellow believers and looking down on others over these dates, then maybe there is a need to question if Jesus is involved, because he is not the author of hate, strife, and division in the body of Christ over such things.

Are you born again? Do you have eternal life?
Have you given your life to Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior? He loves us so much that he, our creator, left heaven and came to earth, dying for us on the cross, taking our sins upon him so that we may be forgiven and receive his righteousness. He conquered death by rising from the dead and made a way for us who were dead in sin to be reconciled back to the Father (God). What’s more, he has prepared a wonderful home for us in heaven, where those who love him and obey him will spend eternity with him. Learn more here about how to be born again and have eternal life after this brief life on earth.
