Our main purpose at The Awakened Life Ministry is to Awaken the Bride of Christ (ABC).

Our mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, make disciples through sound Bible-based teachings, and prepare his bride for his return.

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." Matthew 28:19-20

About Mwendwa Mbaabu

Mwendwa Mbaabu is a born-again disciple of Jesus Christ. She is an author and teacher. Through her writings and Bible-based teachings, Mwendwa presents the saving gospel of Jesus Christ and helps people find freedom from bondage and deception. Formerly a backslider turned new-age author, coach, and teacher, Jesus Christ radically delivered and saved her from a life of demonic bondage and deception.

Jesus delivered her from a deeply broken and sinful past littered with severe childhood trauma, years of clinical depression and suicidal ideations, alcoholism, LGBTQ and sexual bondage, spiritual abuse, backsliding, self-destructive habits, demonization, and years of New-age spiritual deception.

Awaken the Bride of Christ

In a dream in 2024, I heard almost audibly, ABC- Awaken the Bride of Christ. This is the burden the Lord has placed in my heart: to awaken the bride of Christ and remind them of his soon return. I also had a dream a few months earlier where the Lord told me in a booming voice, "I AM COMING NOW!"

We do not have much time left. Much of the body of Christ has forsaken the Lord Jesus and the true gospel for the love of money, a false man-centered gospel, and is preaching a false Jesus. Jesus said, "My church has changed." He is grieved by the state of the last day's church.

He is calling for his sheep to hear his voice, repent, return to him, and prepare for his return in holiness, righteousness, and truth. The way is still narrow. Jesus has not changed, even though his church has. Without holiness, no man shall see God.

“Awake up, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” Ephesians 5:14

Hand of Hope Outreach seeks to spread the love of Jesus tangibly through supporting the weak and needy, helping orphans and widows, feeding the poor, educating needy children, clothing the naked, and spreading the gospel and discipleship. We do this primarily by seeking partnerships through cash, clothes, shoes, food, and bible donations from cheerful, intentional, and willing well-wishers. Learn more here.

Some Personal Interests:

I love studying the bible and am an avid researcher and lover of church history.

I love writing and sharing about the kingdom of God.

I love inspiring, giving hope to, and encouraging those who are in bondage to addictions, confusion, despair, depression, and life's hardest battles because I have been there.

I love singing and especially love hymns.

I love animals, and especially cats. I have a black Bombay male cat.

I love thinking, testifying, and talking about Jesus, the Bible and spiritually edifying topics.

I look forward to going to heaven one day and to the resurrection of the saints. There is a glorious inheritance awaiting those who trust in Jesus after this life. Do not miss it. This earth is simply a vapor compared to eternity.
